Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best known for her role for her role as the star of Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que te enamores. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had great success in both of these fields. She is a native of Montreal However, she was raised studying in Texas. Her love of dance has been a part of her since the age of a child. Since she was a child she was trained in a variety of dance styles. When she was 15, she took part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008.
